Detailed program for Morocco private travel:

DAY 1 : ARRIVE TANGIER FERRY PORT :

Private Tours Morocco travel company organise Tangier to Sahara excursion available every day. During the first day of your trip we will meet you in the port and driving to the hotel.

DAY 2:  TANGER - CHEFCHAOUEN

Today we departure from Tangier and we drive through  the Rif mountains and Tetoun city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to Chefchaouan -one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif mountains Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend you night in a local riad.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MOULAY IDRISS - FES:

After breakfast in the riad our Morocco trip starts towards Volubilis crossing via Wazan and other Rif villages, in Volubilis  we will discover  the roman ruins  and learn about the archeological site   of Moroocan history ,after  the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes  city  the 17 th centry heritage where we will stop  for lunch and  hang around the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab el mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail s shrine. After the visit of Meknes  we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night in a local riad.

DAY 4 : FES SIGHTSEEING TOURS :

The whole day will be devoted to the sightseeing of Fes, the oldest cultural and spiritual imperial city of Morocco, founded in 790 B.C by Moulay Idriss II. Highlights will include the medieval Medina, the Medersas , the El Qaraouiyyin Mosque and the sumptuous Nejjarine fountain. Independent lunch followed by a visit to the “Arabian House” to observe various craftsmen performing their work reminiscent of ancient practices. Dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

DAY 5 :  FES - IFRAN - AZROU - MIDELT - ZIZ GORGES - ERRACIDIA - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA :

After an early breakfast, we will depart to Merzouga through the Mid-Atlas mountains region. Stop in Azrou to look out for Barbary apes and nomadic shepherds on the scenic, journey between the Middle and High Atlas mountain ranges. Independent lunch in Midelt  known for its handicraft cooperative and an important mining centre, continuation to Erfoud and Rissani, Arrival in Merzouga and check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.

DAY 6 :  MERZOUGA EXCURSIONS AND CAMEL RIDE

Today we explore Merzouga desert by 4x4. We will visit the Gnawa village and its local people , where we will learn about their music and lifestyle . We will meet Nomad people living in desert and we enjoy lunch with them. We may visit Rissani and its souk. In  the afternoon, we prepare for camel ride to the desert , guided by an experienced camel guide. We explore hidden beauty in desert - in the middle of the highest sand dunes in Morocco - in Merzouga. We will have dinner at desert camp and we stay overnight in desert tents.

DAY 7 :  MERZOUGA - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

Today in the morning we prepare for camel ride back to village. We enjoy desert sunrise and after breakfast in hotel we depart to Rissani and Erfoud which is known by fossils. We drive through palm trees groves of Ziz Valley, we continue towards Tinghir and then Todgha Gorges to explore its valley , famous for rock climbers. We head to Boumalne Dades where we will enjoy dinner and overnight in the hotel in Dades Gorges.

DAY 8 :  DADES VALLEY TO MARRAKECH VIA AIT BENHADDOU

Today we drive through the Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate and then to Marrakech. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna -the centre of roses valley ,we continue to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah and  through the majestic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains.

DAY 9 :  MARRAKECH GUIDED DAY TRIP

After breakfast in the riad , you can start exploring Marrakech " the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts.

DAY 10 :  DAY TRIP TO OUZOUD WATERFALLS

After breakfast our journey continues to the Cascades of Ouzoud located in the Middle Atlas and without any doubt they the most spectacular waterfallsin the North of Africa. With a 110 metre drop they are located in the middle of a landscape of clay and surrounded by rivers and impressive gorges.Its surroundings are regularly frequented by macaques (monkeys) making Ouzoud a place even more special, well worth a visit to spend a relaxing day. We will return in the middle of the afternoon to Marrakech.

DAY 11 :  MARRAKECH AT LEISURE

This day will be devoted to the sightseeing of Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, known as the “Pearl of the South” and home to the Saadian tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace and the Menara Garden. We will return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, we will explore the souks and the world’s famous Djemaa El Fna place, which offers various entertainments, such as storytellers, acrobats, snake-charmers, magicians, etc. Return to your selected accommodation for overnight stay.

DAY 12 :  MARRAKECH

After breakfast, free program then we take you from the riad to the airport. The end of Travel across Morocco and the Sahara Desert with professional travel company in Marrakech.
