DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE - SKOURA - VALLEY OF ROSES - DADES GORGES

Picked up from your Marrakech hotel in the morning, you'll ride in comfort into the heart of the high Atlas Mountains in an air-conditioned minivan. Discover the Berber towns and the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, where shepherds still use the same methods they've used for hundreds of years to harness their sheep. The first stop should be to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a local meeting place and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

For lunch, we're going to Ouarzazate. Taourirte Kasbah is where many people from the Atlas, Drâa, and Dadès valleys get together, thus it may be worth a visit. It is planned that you and your guide visit the oasis in Skoura in the afternoon. Dades River takes us through steep canyons dotted with traditional Berber communities and the remnants of old kasbahs. In the evening, you'll reach Boumalne du Dadès, where you'll be greeted with a warm welcome and provided with food and lodging. An evening and overnight stay in Boumalne du Dadès.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TOUDRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT

Travel down the "1000 Kasbahs Road" to the adjacent city of Tinghir in a minivan after breakfast at the hotel. Have lunch (not included in price) at one of the local cafés after a stroll around the oasis in the towering Todgha canyon, where a deep fracture in the orange limestone affords amazing views. After lunch, go to Rissani, Morocco's sacred city and the former capital of the Tafilalt area where the present Moroccan royal dynasty was born.

We're making our way to Merzouga, a quaint village on the Sahara's outskirts. As the sun sets in the west, gather your camel caravan and head deep into the desert to see Erg Chebbi. Have dinner and spend the evening under the stars while being serenaded by local nomads playing traditional music. Sleep in a tent in the middle of the Sahara desert. Breakfast and dinner were provided free of charge.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - AGDZ - MARRAKECH

Get up early so you may see the sun rise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, which is the most beautiful thing the desert has to offer. After you have finished your meal, you should head towards Fes via the route that takes you through the Ziz Valley Gorge and Azrou. As you go through the verdant and thick cedar forests, you will likely come across several monkeys. You will arrive in Fes about 7 pm on the evening of Day 3, and you will be dropped off there.
