DAY 1 : MARRAKECH - AIT BENHADDOU - OUARZAZATE -  - DADES GORGES

This morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will depart in your private air-conditioned vehicle to begin your five-day, round tour of the Sahara's Hamada (stone desert) and Erg (dune desert). Your first stops will be the desert oasis towns of Ait Benhadou, Ouarzazate, and Skoura Palmerie, where a Kasbah formerly stored silk route riches, followed by a trip to the breathtaking Todgha Gorge, whose sheer cliffs soar hundreds of feet into the air. Spend a day seeing this magical region at your own pace and take in the breathtaking scenery. The amenities of a nice hotel, including supper and breakfast.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES - TOUDRA GORGES - ERFOUD - MERZOUGA DESERT

You can find the beautiful Erg Chebbi dune landscape by making your way to the easternmost part of Morocco, about 20 km from the border with Algeria. The most famous Saharan dune in Morocco is a sight to behold and a change for the soul. You can walk or ride a camel into the faraway sand dunes to get to your Nomadic-style camp hidden in the dunes. It's common to climb to the top of one of the higher dunes at sunset, then have dinner and maybe sing and tell stories in Berber around a campfire.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA - AGDZ - ZAGORA

After a peaceful and unforgettable night in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, we return with the camels to the hotel, meet the guide, and freshen ourselves before setting off for Rissani. The palm grove and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif are only two of the attractions in the tourism region. Stop for lunch in Nkoub before making the drive across the Draa Valley to Zagora. We stayed in a motel in Zagora for dinner and the night.

DAY 4 : ZAGORA - TAMEGROUTE - M’HAMID - CHEGAGA

After breakfast visit the old Jewish kasbah and see where local artisan jewelery is made. Leave Zagora for Tamegroute and visit the Koranic library and the site that manufactures green pottery, as well as the underground kasbah. Continue to Tinfou and Foum Taqat until you reach Mhamid where we will have lunch (own expense). Head along a sandy track until you arrive at the dunes of Chegaga. We will take a camel ride just in time to see the stunning sunset. Stay overnight in a nomad tent with dinner and nomad music.

DAY 5 :  CHEGAGA - FOUM ZGUID - TAZNAKHT - MARRAKECH

Wake up early to watch the majestic sunrise over the dunes, and then enjoy breakfast. The first stop of the day is Foum Zguid with the possibility of visiting the nomads. We will pass Iriki Lake and the desert plateau dotted with acacia trees. Have lunch (own expense) in Taznakht, the city of Berber carpets.
